Eckhart Tolle stated: “When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation, change the situation, or accept it. All else is madness.”
Our energy drains during those times of complaining. Life throws us curve balls that sometimes we aren’t able to hit or dodge, so it is human nature that we complain because it may make us feel better at the moment.
Does it solve your issue(s) though?
With every word that drips out of our mouths only waters the negativity of whatever situation or issue we are complaining about. And the more we complain, the more the negative energy begins to grow.
We can’t control what Life decides for us to experience. We may plan, organize and map out what we want to happen, but in the end, it doesn’t always turn out the way we want it to. It can be frustrating. All of the hard work we put into making sure our lives pan out according to our vision can be disheartening when things go left. And it’s understandable when we begin to complain.
I heard on a podcast, where a celebrity allowed herself 10 minutes out of the day to complain about whatever it was that plagued her. Once her 10 minutes was up that was it.
How interesting that energy and words can affect our view on life, as well as our mood and our reaction to the happenings around us. We forget that whatever we verbalize speaks Life into us, the people we love and the manifestations that occur.
The past couple of months have taught me that I have control over how I react and what I speak Life into. I always knew this but somehow, some way, because I am becoming more in tune with myself and everyone around me, my eyes were all the way open to the ramifications of how I exert my energy into the atmosphere.
I don’t want to exert negative energy.
Not anymore.
I know it will be a journey to fully grasp and sway what type of energy I want in my space and how I decide to exert mine but ultimately speaking Life into my life is the goal.
